Prasunda, what's your take on LM and Hyundai tyeing up to build Aegeis System equipped ships, with an eye on India? Is IN still showing interest in such a system, given its prohibitive cost?

Hyundai Heavy Industries, Lockheed Martin and Raytheon, and also Navantia, Raytheonand Lockheed Martin, are in the fray for proposing their respective SPY-1/Aegis CMS combinations for the Indian Navy's Project 17A FFG procurement programme. However, the Indian Navy has already decided in favour of the EL/M-2248 MF-STAR and L-band scalable naval radar (derived from the aerostat-mounted L-band EL/M-2083) combination for Project 17A.
